DIY Pretty: Tissue Paper Flowers.

Tissue Paper Flower.

Flowers! Who doesn't think they are pretty! Here's a simple and pretty flower you can make from tissue paper.

What you'll need:
1. Four pieces of tissue paper (both coloured and decorative will do perfectly).
2. Scissors.
3. String.

Step 1. Align 4 pieces of tissue paper on top of each other. It's okay if they aren't perfectly aligned.

Step 2. Start folding them like an accordion.

Step 3. Tie the centre with a string and cut the ends of the folded paper in a scalloped or triangular shape. I used a triangular edge.

Step 4. Now, gently start pulling each layer of the tissue paper upwards, separating each layer to form your petals.

You can even use different coloured layers of tissue paper or smaller tissue paper over the larger ones to form a shaded flower. It's open for experimentation! Also, you can adorn lonely table tops or even a lonely wall with these flowers! =) Enjoy.
